Typing Games
The average typing speed is between 38 and 40 words per minute. Most people don't know how to type properly, but the truth is most people especially those entering the job market in the next few years will need proper typing skills for anything that you do. many job interviews even have you complete a typing test to assess how many words per minute you can type.
The goal for the class will be to practise typing using proper form and improve our speed and fluency.
Here are a few games to help:
Key Bricks
Starkey
Various other games

WELCOME
Welcome to BTT (Information and Computer Technology),
This will be a fast course, but full of information that will help you with all other courses. Technology and acquiring information is the first step and from there the possibilities are only limited by your creativity. Everything is now at your finger tips, but the question becomes how do you get it, how do you know its good information and then what do you do with it.
I hope this course gets you thinking and experimenting. Computers can be scary. There is always that fear of accidentally hitting that button that will make everything explode. Hopefully, you hit that button... hit it maybe 20 or 30 times, my goal is to teach you that beside that button is an undo button that will fix your fixes.
Take risks in the class and play with the material. Go down the slide face first and see what happens. Bigger the risk, bigger the reward.
Please take 5 minutes to complete this survey
